Accountability

Ok, so, I started this blog in the hopes of having accountability.  It is a little difficult to have that if I don't write anything of significance down.  So here it is, the good, the bad and the ugly (I know it's cliche, I don't care).

Breakfast:
McD. Sausage and egg McMuffin, one hashbrown and a small coffee with 2 creams.

Snack:
None

Lunch:
My son made Spaghetti Squash Lasagne last night, so I am having that for lunch and a Butterfinger candy bar.

Snack:
none

Dinner:
Hot tea, 2 slices whole wheat toast

5 circuits around the parking lot

Here is the lasagne recipe:Spaghetti Squash Lasagne Recipe

  1. Hmmm...ok, let's see.

How many calories are in your half day of eating?

Ok, now if you burn 10 calories a minute on the treadmill/bile/elliptical, how long would it take to burn off half the cals you ate this morning?

Whenever I WANT something or don't have the time to make a better alternative, I think to myself how much more god-awful time I would have to exercise to work it off, and it helps me decide if I REALLY want it.

You probably burn around 1700 calories a day at basal rate, so to lose weight, you need a deficit below that, right? So to lose 2 pounds a week you need to either eat only 700 calories a day, or have a net 700 after exercise...

I hope the yucky math will make you think twice about the 220 calorie (22 minutes of hard cardio) Butterfinger Bar tomorrow! ;-)

I won't touch the McD, cause I know you know that shit will kill ya. Can you pre-make breakfast so you can just grab it and go in the morning? I know alot of people like those Vita Tops-which are basically muffin tops at 100 cals apiece. Or a McMuffin minus the sausage?

I am so looking forward to your good tomorrow! You are worth so much more than Crack Donald's.

I so want the spaghetti squash recipe, too! ;-)

    Stay positive, let's do this!
