Sometimes in the evenings, I am not hungry and I don't eat dinner. I don't snack much, so that is not the problem. I just am not hungry.
My son gripes at me and tells me I should not be skipping meals. So, my question is: If you are not hungry, should you eat?
I know "don't skip breakfast" but dinner? Are you getting enough calories for the day?
ReplyDeleteI also know that dinner should not be your heaviest meal... your midday meal should be.
I have to say I wish I was just not hungry. I find I am hungry ALL the time.
Deanna, I don't know about my calories. I am aware of calories, but I'm not counting them. Breakfast is my heaviest meal and they get progressively lighter as the day goes on. And then, by the end of the day I'm not hungry. It was hard at first. I was hungry all the time too, but then my body adjusted.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds to me like you are doing well. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds good, certainly I wouldn't eat if i didn't want to and what I was doing was healthy. Its the healthy bit that matters. If you are getting enough daily calories of the right kinds of foods and you were eating in a way that will sustain the activities you do..then I don't see it matters what time of day you have your main meal.
